With all that’s been going on, I needed to do far less with cakes after graduation time. So I haven’t been posting any cakes or cookies since June. I did a few orders per month over the summer, and I’ll post some of them, but I figured I’d start posting what I’ve done again when I do them. Some of them this weekend are super fun…like this sweet jungle birthday 🙂

I had to share these cookies that I made. But there’s a reason behind them.

You see, my dad and and I are big baseball fans, and we LOVE the Atlanta Braves. Both of us are lifelong fans. The only time I’ve been to see them play in Atlanta though is in September 2012 when it was the great Chipper Jones’ last homestand. My dad and I flew down and took in two games at Turner Field and got to see Chipper play for the last time at Turner Field and see so many alums. It was amazing.

Fast forward to now. My dad and I will be traveling back to Atlanta on Friday. The one-and-only Andruw Jones is having his number retired this weekend. It’ll be my first time at Truist Park; my dad too. We’re so excited to take it all in. I bought tickets to the Saturday game back in April. Since that time, I’ve been trying to buy tickets to the VIP experience at Truist Park. The best part would be to be on the field for BP! However, despite trying for the last few months to get tickets, I’ve been unsuccessful. The website has not let me buy the tickets (even as far back as April), I can’t get a call back from the front office customer service, and a FB message to Truist Park has gone unanswered. I’m not looking for a handout…I want to BUY tickets for the VIP experience at Truist Park on Saturday and give my dad the best gift a Braves fan could get!

SO. This is my last-ditch effort to make it happen! I’ve made these cookies of the current Braves broadcasters in the booth and on the field. I want to see if I can enlist their help! I’ve made a cookie of each their distinctive shadows with the Atlanta A as a background! And not only are they kinda cool, they’re delicious. 😉 And they’ve been photographed on my Francoeur jersey (the Baby Braves was a favorite time for me).

I love listening to the broadcast every night and hope this might spark one of your interest to try to help. If you guys can help, I’d be forever grateful! ❤️ Go Braves!
