All cookies are sugar cookies decorated with royal icing.
What if I don’t know what I want my order to look like?
I can help you design your order! Many times, people only know the theme of their event but don’t know what they would like their order to look like. Google images, Pinterest, and Instagram are popular places that people look to find inspiration. If you send a picture (or several) to me, I can use those. If you still need help, I am happy to guide you.
How much notice do I have to give you to place an order?
For any local order, I can accept orders up to 10 days away from the event. For any shipped orders, I must be contacted at least two weeks before your event.
If you are considering my services, please contact me as soon as possible, so I can advise you of my availability for the date of your event.
Do you deliver?
Yes! Orders can be picked up in Waterford, Virginia. If it is an order that requires expertise in transport (i.e. a particularly large cake or a cake that is three tiers or larger), I recommend delivery.
Delivery is typically restricted to a 40 mile radius from Waterford, Virginia, but I can be flexible.
A delivery fee of $15 is applied to all delivered orders.
Do you ship?
Cookies can ship! If you are not local and want cookies shipped, I must be contacted at least two weeks before the date of your event in order to properly plan their creation and timely delivery. Unfortunately, cakes and cupcakes cannot be shipped.
Do you make wedding cakes?
I do! I make custom cakes for all events, including weddings.
How do I pay for an order?
I accept cash, check, Venmo (Mollie-Gorney), CashApp ($MollieGorney), and Zelle. I am comfortable with your preferred method of payment from this list of options.
When do I pay?
For most orders, a deposit is not required. Instead, I typically accept payment upon pick-up or delivery. For shipped orders, payment is accepted once the order is shipped and an invoice is sent.
Can you make allergy-friendly desserts?
My kitchen is not free from nuts, eggs, gluten, and other allergens. However, I do not make any of my desserts with nuts (unless specifically requested). In some circumstances, I can accommodate requests for gluten-free and dairy-free desserts for an additional charge.
